10 per cent hike in DA

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State government has ordered a 10 per cent hike in dearness allowance (DA) for government employees, teachers, and employees of local self-government institutions and statutory corporations, among others, with retrospective effect from January 1, 2009. Service and family pensioners too will get the revised DA with arrears from July, an official release said. — Special Correspondent
