RBI guidelines hailed

The Tamil Nadu Small and Tiny Industries Association (TANSTIA) has appreciated the Reserve Bank of India for issuing guidelines regarding cheque clearance norms.

The guidelines for local cheque clearance on the same day, or at worst the day after their presentation, would be a boon especially for micro and small-scale industries.

Provision for withdrawal on the same day against cheques lodged will also be helpful to industries, a release from TANSTIA said.
