KRISHNAGIRI: Industries in the district, especially leather and dyeing units, have been asked to remove sludge from manholes mechanically. Stringent action would be initiated against those units which violate the order from the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board, says a press release from Collector V.K. Shanmugam.
