2 boys die of snake bite

VANIYAMBADI: Two school students belonging to Jamunamarathur on Jawadu Hills died of snake bite at Vaniyambadi Government Hospital on Friday.
Police said the victims, Anbarasu (13) and Sivasakthi (10), belonged to Erumaiaanoor . Anbarasu was recently promoted to Standard VIII in a private school at Jamunamarathur. Sivasakthi was a Standard V student of Panchayat Union School. Both Anbarasu and Sivasakthi were relatives. On Thursday night, they were sleeping in a hut at Erumaiaanoor when a snake bit them. Locals took them to the PHC at Jamunamarathur. They were later referred to Vaniyambadi Government Hospital where they died on Friday.
