Anti-elephantiasis programme

VILLUPURAM: Private hospitals treating persons afflicted with lymphatic filariasis or elephantiasis should report the cases to the Deputy Director (Health) in Villupuram, Collector R. Palanisamy has said.

He was briefing officials here on preparations to be made for carrying out a three-day National Elephantiasis Eradication programme in the district from Sunday.

Suggestion or complaints could be made by calling toll free numbers 1056 and 1070, or 94451 39849.
