BSNL launches pre-paid plan

CHENNAI: BSNL Chennai Telephones has launched a new pre-paid plan with one-year validity.

A release said the value proposition of “BSNL Vasantham” is that users can make local calls within the network at 20 paise per minute between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.

Group talk upto a maximum of five BSNL numbers in the State (one landline and four mobiles) will only cost 30 paise per minute in addition to 250 free SMSs to any network. The card is priced at Rs. 150 with an initial talk value of Rs. 50.
