Gold chain snatched

TIRUCHI: Gold chain weighing two sovereigns was reportedly snatched from a woman at Burma Colony in Kattur near here on Monday. Police sources said Ranjana Santhi (34) was walking on the road-side when the accused – S. Ganesan (36) – riding a motorcycle snatched the chain and fled. The accused was later secured. The Tiruverambur police has registered a case.
