“Restore UTS”

TIRUCHI: The Golden Rock branch of Consumer Protection Council, Tamil Nadu has appealed to the Railway Board to restore the Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) through out the railways.

In a letter to the board, Chairman, S.S. Khurana, its secretary H. Ghouse Baig said the UTS facility was a boon to many passengers and had brought handsome revenue to the railways.

Discontent

The withdrawal of the facility all of a sudden had caused much discontent among train users especially the less privileged class. He appealed for the immediate restoration of the facility across the nation.
