BANGALORE: Over 14,000 students will appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) being conducted here on Sunday. This marks an increase of over 2,000 students compared to last year, when a common admission test for all the leading law schools was introduced. The two-hour examination is being conducted in 16 centres across the country. In Karnataka, students will appear for the test at the National Law School of India University. The test is being conducted by National Academy for Legal Studies and Research University (NALSAR), Hyderabad. Those appearing for the test will be vying for admission to the 11 national law schools across the country. The test, which was slated to be held on May 17, was postponed. Two locked and sealed steel boxes containing test material were found to have been tampered with while in transit from Hyderabad to Lucknow.
