KOCHI: The Kerala Christian Professional College Managements Federation will begin the admission process to MBBS and BDS courses in affiliated colleges from June 1. The colleges under the federation include Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur; Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute, Thrissur; Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Kolenchery; Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Thiruvalla; and Pushpagiri College of Dental Sciences, Thiruvalla. All member colleges will admit students based on a common prospectus under the single window system, as done during last year. The common prospectus and application form can be obtained from the colleges on payment of Rs.700 by demand draft favouring the Kerala Christian Professional College Managements Federation payable at Ernakulam from June 1. Application forms can also be downloaded from the website of the federation www.kcpcmf.org. The merit list will be prepared by giving weightage for marks scored by the candidates in the State medical entrance examination and the marks scored in physics, chemistry and biology in the qualifying examination in the ratio of 50:50. Details of the application will be published on the website of the federation. The federation will not conduct any separate entrance examination.
