Priest’s birthday celebrations

KOCHI: The 70th birthday celebrations of Fr. Varghese Kallappara, the chief spokesperson of the Jacobite Syrian Church, will be held on Saturday. In a function at the Bharath Tourist Home conference hall at 3 p.m., Catholicos Baselious Thomas I will be the patron of the committee organising the celebrations. V.R. Krishna Iyer, former judge of the Supreme Court, will participate.
