Arrangements over for bypolls

Thiruvananthapuram: Arrangements have been completed for holding bypolls in 19 local body wards on Wednesday. The counting will take place on Thursday. Though the original notification was for holding the bypolls in 20 local body wards, the CPI(M) candidate in the Malapattam East ward of Malapattam grama panchayat in Kannur district, P.V. Chandukutty, was declared elected unopposed. — Special Correspondent
