JNU admission process begins

NEW DELHI: After conducting the entrance examinations for various courses, Jawaharlal Nehru University here has begun the admission process for the upcoming academic year 2009-10.

Over 1 lakh candidates appeared for various academic courses, including 66 programmes at the M.Phil/Ph.D. level, 29 courses at the post-graduate level and 18 programmes at the under-graduate level.

The admission results would be declared in phases in June and July.
