State second rank for Gobichettipalayam student

COIMBATORE: S. Sushma, student of Saradha Higher Secondary School, Modachur, Gobichettipalayam, has bagged the State second rank in the State Board examinations with 495 marks.

Though Sushma has secured centums in Mathematics, Science and Social Science, she is disappointed with the 97 she has got in Tamil.

“This has pushed me to the second place,” she laments.

A consistent first rank holder in school, Sushma wants to pursue computer science in school and wants to become an aeronautical engineer. She aspires to work for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

Her inspiration: Kalpana Chawla.

She believes in keeping her mind relaxed and completing her everyday portions.

“It is not enough to study all subjects everyday. What is important is to study thoroughly,” she says.
