Jamia sets up information booth for admission seekers

NEW DELHI: Jamia Millia Islamia in collaboration with the National Service Scheme and Youth Friendly Integrated Counselling and Testing Centre has set up an admission information and guidance centre for those seeking admission to various courses on offer at the university.

About 30 NSS volunteers will be manning the information booth set up on the main road outside the gate of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology on the campus. The information booth will remain open from 9-30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. A helpline has also been set up. Students can dial 26981717 followed by extension number 1814 and the volunteers will handle all queries pertaining to the admission .
