Amritraj & Ram in final

New Delhi: Prakash Amritraj and his American partner Rajeev Ram overcame a second-set lapse to take down third-seeded Russians Michall Elgin and Alexandra Kudryavtsev 7-6(8), 1-6, 10-5 in the semifinals to make the summit clash of the Izmir Cup in Turkey.

They will now meet the top-seeded Israelis Jonathan Erlich and Harel Levy.

At the Sarasota Open in Longboat Key, United States, Harsh Mankad and his partner Kaes Van’t Hof came from behind to script the ouster of the top-seeded pair of Carsten Ball and Travis Retternmaier 2-6, 6-3, 10-5 in the semifinals.

The third-seeded Indo-American pair will take on second seeds Victor Estrella of Dominican Republic and Santiago Gonzalez of Mexico. — PTI
