Hanumant Thapa scores hat-trick
NEW DELHI: A hat-trick by Hanumant Thapa helped Zakir Hussain College to a 4-1 victory over Central Secretariat in a Group ‘I’ match of the senior division in the Chief Minister’s Cup DSA institutional football league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Monday.
Tapan Joshi scored the other goal for the winner. Dalip Bhandari reduced the margin.
In a Group ‘I’ match of the ‘A’ division, Central Excise and Customs recorded a 2-0 victory over Indian Airlines. Mohammed Khalid and Anil Satwan scored the goals early in the second half.
