Chhattisgarh keeps winning

MUMBAI: Chhattisgarh continued its winning streak, beating Kerala 53-46 in a girls’ Pool ‘A’ match of the 26th Lakadawala youth (under-16) National basketball championship at the Mastan YMCA Mini Stadium here on Monday. The winner led 33-22 at half-time.

The results: Boys: West Bengal 57 (Siddharth Joshi 26, Raviswamy 10) bt Gujarat 39 (Pujan Patel 18); Jharkhand 52 (Rahul Dubey 13, Ravikant Ojha11) bt Jammu & Kashmir 11; Manipur 48 (Anand Singh 15, K. Sanjoy 12) bt Himachal Pradesh 26 (Akimjeet Singh 12).
