Rashien, Rohan move up

BANGALORE: The two talented local juniors, Rashien Samuel and Rohan Gaonkar registered contrasting wins in the opening round of the boys under-18 singles in the AITA Champion Series (under-18 & under-16 ) tennis tournament at the KSLTA courts here on Monday.

Rashien, who had won the under-18 title at the Bangalore City Institute a fortnight ago, defeated Sai Reddy of AP 4-1,4-1 while, Rohan Gaonkar prevailed over er J.S.Arjun Raj of Kerala 5-3,5-4.
