Unbeaten 112 by Shivaraman

Chennai: I. Shivaraman made an unbeaten 112 as St. Bede’s defeated Ford India by 45 runs in the All-India YSCA Trophy tournament here on Sunday.

The scores: St. Bedes AIHSS 248 for three in 30 overs (A.H.M. Sohail 40, I. Shivaraman 112 not out, Vignesh Mohan 55) bt Ford India 203 all out in 29.5 overs (Shankar 48).

Arihant Pharmaceuticals 186 for nine in 30 overs (Bharani Mehta 42) bt Freeze India 136 in 22 overs (Kamal 72 not out, Senthil four for 13; Vijay Mani four for 20).

Elixir Solutions 86 in 18.5 overs lost to TCS e-Serve 87 for one in 12.3 overs. Ashok Leyland (Corporate) ‘C ‘ 186 for seven in 30 overs (Gajavardan 62, Jaikumar Rohit 52, Jaishankar five for 50) bt Komaleswar CC 158 all out in 26 overs (Gajavardan four for 20).

Ashok Leyland (Corporate) ‘B’ 131 in 21.4 overs lost to Reliance Communications 134 for four in 13.3 overs.

Big win for Kanniah CA

Kanniah CA defeated SSCA by 145 runs in the Velammal under-14 tournament at the Velammal Engineering College, Surapet, on Sunday.

The scores: Kanniah CA 256 for seven in 30 overs (G.Ukendra Babu 65, Mitchell 48, Deepak 45) bt SSCA 111 FOR seven in 30 overs (L. Aravind 26 ); Audichetty CC 87 all out in 25.1 overs (M.Anand three for 15, Syed Imran Ahmed three FOR 16) lost to Reddys CA 88 for six in 14.1 overs (Pranoy 28 not out, S.Swaminathan three for 42); Kedar CA 211 for six in 29 overs (Aditya Giridhar 39, Vigneshwar Rao 36 , V.Adithya 37 not out) beats Audichetty CA 77 for eight in 29 overs; Reddy CA 88 all out in 29.5 overs (Ram Ramesh three for 15) lost to Kedar CA 91 for no loss in seven overs (Adithya Giridhar 66 not out).

Hat-trick by Charles

Charles claimed four for 49, including a hat-trick, as Sutherland Global Services defeated Ashok Leyland by 17 runs in the Kalpathi-YSCA Trophy tournament here on Saturday.

The scores: YSCA 234 for six in 30 overs (M.Gopal 102, M.Thangadurai 65, N.Ajay four for 42) bt Accenture 134 in 28 overs (M.K.Srinivasan 46, P.Sanjay Kumar five for 48).

Sutherland Global Services 187 in 28 overs (Andrew 78, Srikumar 47; Balu Rajkumar four for 50, Krishnakumar four for seven) bt Ashok Leyland (Ennore) 170 for nine in 30 overs (Balu Rajkumar 57, Charles four for 49 incl. a hat-trick).
