West Bengal in last four

Margao: West Bengal scored a 3-0 over defending champion Goa to storm into the semifinals of the 18th under-21 National football championship for Dutta Ray Trophy here on Sunday.

Anjay Dey (53rd), Dipankar Das (55th) and Mithun Saha (62nd) scored.

West Bengal, ended second behind Mizoram, which topped Group I with three wins.

Mizoram will meet either Haryana or Kerala on May 13.

Earlier, Mizoram blanked Assam 3-0, to top group I with all three wins.

C Lalthiamuana (18th), David Lalrinmuana (87th) and Zodinliana (88th) scored. — PTI
