Technology day observance tomorrow

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) will launch the State-wide observance of National Technology Day-2009 on May 11. Information and Technology Department Principal Secretary Ajay Kumar will inaugurate the events at Shasthra Bhavan here. Mr. Ajay Kumar and KSCSTE executive vice-president E.P. Yesodharan will preside. Eminent scientists, including Centre for Bioinformatics honorary director Achuthsankar S. Nair, Head of the Department of Optoelectronics (University of Kerala) V.P. Mahadevan Pillai and IT@School Project executive director K. Anvar Sadath, will hold technical sessions.
