Damini continues her good run

BANGALORE: Damini Gowda of Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre (BAC) continued her good run in the State sub-junior aquatic championship at the SAI (South) Centre pool here on Saturday.

Damini, who took two gold on the opening day, won the 50m freestyle race with a new meet mark of 31.87 seconds (old: 32.41s) and also won the 50m breaststroke.

Nihal Shilar’s unbeaten 187, S. Rakshith’s 104 and Abdul Nauman’s five-wicket haul helped Jawahar SC (1) defeat YMCA CC by 180 runs in a KSCA under-16 tournament match here recently.
