HYDERABAD: Deccan Blues and APSRTC were locked in a one-all draw in the A-2 Division hockey league championship at Gymkhana Grounds here on Saturday.

Right-out Guruswamy scored for RTC while, Kripal Singh levelled the score for Blues. After a rest period, the league will resume on May 12.

Salman shines

A good spell by Mohammad Salman (five for 15) helped Noble Public School defeat Oxford High School by 28 runs in the under-16 category of the 10th Boston Cup inter-schools cricket tournament at Sports Coaching Foundation (Masab Tank) here.

The scores (under-16):

Noble Public School 70 for three (Firdous Shareef 32) bt Oxford High School 42 (Mohammad Salman five for 15).
