Rajendran has asked presiding officers and polling officers-1, who were issued appointment orders for poll duty in various Assembly segments and who attended the second training class on May 5, to attend the third training class on Monday. Training centresThe classes will be held in the following training centres in the respective Assembly segments to which they have been drafted for service: Arakkonam (SC) - Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS), Arakkonam; Sholinghur - Goodlet HSS, Sholinghur; Katpadi - Government Boys’ HSS, Katpadi; Ranipet - GBHSS, Ranipet; Arcot - GBHSS, Arcot; Vellore - Cobb Hall, Voorhees College; Anaicut - Government Muslim HSS, Vellore; Kilvazhithunaiankuppam (SC) - GGHSS, Katpadi; Gudiyatham (SC) - Thiruvalluvar HSS, Gudiyatham; Vaniyambadi - Islamiah College, Vaniyambadi; Ambur - Hindu HSS, Ambur; Jolarpet - GBHSS, Tirupattur; Tirupattur - GGHSS, Tirupattur. Action warnedFailure to comply with the orders and attend the class on Monday will be viewed seriously and such officers will be liable for action under Section 159 of the Representation of People Act 1951, the Collector said in a release.
