Legal Correspondent

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday permitted Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, on bail in a 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, to go abroad for six months from June 1 for film shooting.

A Bench consisting of Chief Justice K.G. Balakrishnan and Justices Arijit Pasayat and P. Sathasivam allowed Mr. Dutt’s application on condition that he surrender his passport to the CBI ’s Special Task Force, Mumbai, on his return.
