HPCAL, HSBC post wins

VISAKHAPATNAM: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited defeated AP Eastern Power Distribution Company by nine wickets and HSBC beat Eastern Naval Command by eight wickets in the VDCA institutions super league here on Thursday.

The scores: APEPDCL 105 in 25.4 overs (P. Venkatapathi Raju three for 23, P.V. Sanjay Kumar three for 30) lost to HPCL 106 for one in 21.5 overs (Abhishek Singh 53, S. Raj Sekhar 44); Eastern Naval Command 94 in 21.3 overs (Aditya four for 17, Nagendra four for 22) lost to HSBC 98 for two in 13.5 overs (Jaideep Sarcar 62).
