KSP finishes runner-up

Bangalore: Karnataka State Police (KSP) secured the runner-up slot after defeating LRDE 5-0 in its last match of the BDFA super-division league at the Football Stadium here on Thursday. KSP finished with 34 points from 13 matches, behind league champion HAL (35pts).

Stephen (third minute), Pradeep (57th), Kartik (72nd), Mageshwaran (88th) and Pradeep Kumar (91st) scored for KSP.

Earlier, Kanickaraj’s 28th minute strike helped CIL defeat SAI 1-0. CIL finished its league engagements with 22 points.
