“NDA will get working majority”

Staff Reporter

PUDUCHERRY: Senior BJP leader and in-charge for party’s Puducherry unit V. Dhananjaya on Thursday said the National Democratic Alliance would get working majority to form the next government at Centre. Speaking to reporters here, Mr. Dhananjaya expressed optimism that a few other friendly parties would extend support to NDA after elections. Appealing to voters to choose between “good governance of NDA under Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Manmohan Singh led UPA,” he said fearing defeat in the Lok Sabha polls several allies of UPA had deserted them and gone on separate ways. He termed the Third Front as a “myth.”

Congress President Sonia Gandhi had to cancel her visit to Tamil Nadu due to fear of facing the voters because of mishandling of Tamils issue in Sri Lanka.
