Arun made to sweat

Chennai: Arun of QS was made to sweat by Yatheendra Raj of SVS before he finally went on to win 3-2 in a snooker game of the CAMS Open billiards and snooker tournament here on Wednesday.

Ramurthy-Sridhar win

V.N. Ramurthy and A. Sridhar won the weekly pairs bridge event at the T. Nagar Social Club with a score of 61.70 per cent playing North-South.

K. Krishnakumar and K.R. Venkatramanan won from the East -West with a score of 66.35 per cent.

Narayana is champion

Narayana Surya won the men’s State tennikoit championship conducted at the Rajalakshmi MHSS here recently.
