Former player Ibrahim Lakadawala and the volunteers of the Mastan YMCA have raised around Rs. 70 lakh for the seven-day tournament. Imported fibreglass boards, electronic scoreboards and electronic foul indicators will also be used for the competition. In all, 24 State teams in the boys and 23 in the girls’ sections have confirmed their entry. The winning teams will receive Rs. 75,000, the runner-up Rs. 50,000 and the third-placed team Rs. 25,000.
