Negre stresses on merger

NEW DELHI: The International Hockey Federation (FIH) on Tuesday again stressed on the merger of the men’s and women’s federations in India.

Talking to reporters about the formation of Hockey India, FIH president Leonardo Negre said “things are moving on. But it takes some time for the amalgamation of men and women bodies. I am confident that they would put in place a federation before the World Cup. That’s my immediate concern.” — Sports Reporter
