RC is on an upward swing: Mallya

Johannesburg: Royal Challengers Bangalore is slowly climbing the charts with some scintillating performances and its elated owner Vijay Mallya says the team has the potential to win the second edition of the Indian Premier League cricket tournament.

“All I can say is, we have the talent and determination to play well and if that takes us to winning this tournament, then I will be the happiest main in the world,” said Mallya, owner of the team that finished the inaugural season as second from bottom.

With three wins on the trot, the Royal Challengers is on an upward swing and Mallya felt it would be unwise to write off anyone in this format of the game. — PTI
