GHMC accused of human rights violation

HYDERABAD: Dr. Reddy’s Foundation has moved the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) alleging inaction in checking the contamination of drinking water in Bholakpur which has led to five deaths and hospitalisation of over 200 residents.

In a complaint on Tuesday, Kavali Jagan of the Foundation urged the SHRC to intervene and initiate action as it was a mass violation of human rights.
