GHMC CTO transferred
HYDERABAD: The GHMC has transferred the Chief Transport Officer, Hafeez Khan, and posted his predecessor Ashwini Kumar in his place on Monday. Orders were also issued to remove another Deputy Executive Engineer Nageshwara Rao working in Malakpet transport division and posting B.V. Pratap in his place. The action was following the unearthing of large scale irregularities in the vehicles maintenance as well as diesel usage position in the municipal corporation’s transport division during inspections conducted by Special Commissioner M.T. Krishna Babu last week. A Deputy Executive Engineer Santosh Kumar, working in Khairatabad transport division has already been suspended and in his place, Anil Das has been posted.
