NEW DELHI: A goal each by Anil Bara and Pushpender Kundu helped Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) to a 2-0 victory over Delhi Administration in a group ‘II’ senior division preliminary league match of the Chief Minister’s Cup DSA institutional football league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Tuesday. ESIC took its tally to six points from two matches, and Delhi Administration was yet to open its account after two matches. IFSM’s sports medicineThe Indian Federation of Sports Medicine (IFSM) will organise an international congress on sports medicine, Sports Medcon 2009, here from November 6 to 8. There will be pre-congress courses on November 5 and 6. The congress is being organised by the IFSM in collaboration with the organising Committee for the 2010 Commonwealth Games, the Sports Authority of India and the Indian Olympic Association, among others. Manju’s return to the national team camp marked the list of 27 released by the All India Football Federation here on Tuesday. The players will attend the camp at Delhi from June 22 to July 7. A combination of injury and poor form had cost Manju a place in the Indian team after the SAF Cup in Male and Colombo. He had done well in the Nehru Cup last year.
