Tiruvallur in final

KARAIKUDI: Tiruvallur defeated Madurai 7-6 via three sets of sudden death and tie-breaker in the semifinals of the sub-junior State football championship, organised by the Sivaganga District Football Association, here on Tuesday.

The teams were 1-1 at the end of regulation period.

Tiruvallur will meet host Sivaganga in the final on Wednesday.
