Governor’s grant for acid attack victim

HYDERABAD: Governor N.D. Tiwari on Tuesday presented a cheque for Rs.50,000, under the discretionary grant, to one of the two acid attack victims of Warangal, Takkelapally Pranita. He commended her ‘positive spirit’ and ‘courage’ and assured all help, both material and moral, to the family. Urmila Chandrasekhara Reddy, vice-chairperson of the AP branch of Red Cross Society, donated Rs.50,000 to Pranita for her education. –Special Correspondent
