C. Mahadevan’s 109th birth anniversary today
HYDERABAD: The 109th birth anniversary of Calamur Mahadevan, a trendsetter in the field of earth science education and exploration for water and mineral resources is being observed here on Wednesday. The ‘Prof. C. Mahadevan’s Students and Admirers’ Association’ in the Andhra University’s Department of Geology, is organising the function.
The venue will be M. L.N. Reddy Hall in the Principal’s office of OU College of Science.
It will be preceded by general body meeting of the association.
During the technical session on ‘Water resources of Andhra Pradesh’ organised to mark the celebrations, V. V. Jagannadha Sarma, a student of Prof. Mahadevan, and Srinivasa Chary Vedala of the Administrative Staff College of India, will deliver talks.
