Maheswaran’s hat-trick in vain

CHENNAI: A hat-trick by left-arm medium-pacer A. Maheswaran went in vain as YMA lost to Trinethra by 27 runs in a match in the all-India YSCA trophy cricket tournament being held here.

Raghunandan sizzles

A fine unbeaten 103 (90b, 11x4) by Raghunandan was the highlight of Accenture’s big victory over Ashok Leyland (Corporate) in a match of the Kalpathi-YSCA league-cum-knock-out cricket tournament being held here.

Raghunandan and Ajay Narayanan (84) were involved in a 200-run partnership for the second-wicket.

M. Sharukh Khan’s half-century helped St. Bede’s defeat Kanniah Cricket Academy by 64 runs in a match of the Panasonic Hitech Diagnostics under-16 Trophy cricket tournament here.
