Rakshith and third seed Anthony Savio (all from Karnataka) entered the pre-quarterfinals in the boys’ under-14 singles event on the inaugural day of the AITA Talent Series tennis tournament for under-14 and under boys & girls being conducted by the PET, Mandya at its courts on Monday. In the boys’ under-12 singles first round, Mysore lad R. Prathik shocked third-seeded Vikram Dhananjay of Tamil Nadu 8-3 and entered the pre-quarterfinals. The results (first round): Boys: U-14: S.
