Anand scalps seven

Bangalore: V. Anand’s seven-wicket haul and C.S. Suresh’s 56 guided Visweswarapuram CC (1) to a five-wicket victory over Hanumanthanagar CC in a KSCA Group I, third division league match here recently.

The scores: Hanumanthanagar CC 135 in 45.3 overs (Sriram 25, V. Anand seven for 46) lost to Visweswarapuram CC (1) 138 for five in 33.1 overs (C.S. Suresh 56, Afzal Khan 25).

Standard CC 187 for eight in 55 overs (Vikas Baldia 89, Adarsh three for 47) drew with Neptune CC 121 for seven in 30 overs (Amith 36, Mohit 32, Vinay three for 32).
