Fine allround display by Biju
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A brilliant allround display by A.M. Biju (88 not out and four for 36) steered Renji Cricket Club to an easy four-wicket win over Chasers Cricket Club in the TDCA ‘D’ division cricket league at the Vellayani Agriculture College ground on Monday.
In another match, Marshal Cricket Club defeated Canara Bank by 129 runs.
The scores: Chasers CC 170 in 29 overs (Unnikrishnan 60, Vasudevan four for 27, A.M. Biju four for 36) lost to Renji CC 172 for six in 25.3 overs (A.M. Biju 88 n.o., Girish four for 66).
Marshal CC 184 for eight in 28 overs (Srinath four for 60) bt Canara Bank 55 in 14.4 overs (J.U. Arun six for 16, Dhaneesh four for 39). — Special Correspondent
