Vanshika wins a double

NEW DELHI: Vanshika Sachar of St. Thomas School won a double crown in the 17th St. Columba’s Open table tennis tournament at the school hall here.

Vanshika beat the top-seeded Ridhi Bajaj of Manav Sthali School in the kids girls’ final in five games, and beat the same opponent in the cadet girls’ final as well, in another tough match that she won 12-10 in the fifth game, after bouncing back from a two-game deficit.
