8 of marriage party killed in accident

Parlekhemundi (Orissa): At least eight persons were killed and 25 injured when a mini-truck carrying a marriage party fell into a ditch at Champaghat on Sunday. — PTI

The incident took place when the marriage party, comprising nearly 40 people was on its way to Abasingh village of Chandragiri in Gajapati district. The vehicle fell into a 200 meter ditch, police said.
