IOB records victory

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Indian Overseas Bank beat SBT ‘B’ by seven wickets in the Alka Ventures TDCA ‘B’ division cricket league at the Agriculture College ground here on Saturday.

Half-centuries from Narayanan Kutty (63) and Sreekumar (50) fashioned IOB’s win as they cruised to win in the 19th over after being set a target of 160 by SBT.

The scores: SBT ‘B’: 159 in 37.5 overs (Ashok Issac 34, Rahul five for 51) lost to IOB 162 for three in 18.1 overs (Narayanan Kutty 63, Sreekumar 50).
