VISAKHAPATNAM: K. Bharat Reddy excelled with a five-wicket haul and scored a crucial and quickfire knock as Gajuwaka Greens regained the VDCA first division clubs league title. Gajuwaka Greens beat East Coast Railway Sports Association by five wickets in the final at Port stadium here on Saturday. Bharat Reddy’s leg-spin and Niranjan Behara (two wickets) were responsible for ECoRSA being restricted to 164. Later in the Greens innings, the two came together for a crucial 80-run stand for the fourth wicket after the team lost quick wickets. Bharat Reddy scored 39 with the help of six 4s and Behara who remained not out on 67 (7x4) guided the team to victory along with P. Trinadh who scored 21 runs in a quick manner (2x4,1x6) to remain unbeaten. This was Gajuwaka Greens’ seventh tile. It won for five seasons continuously, till three seasons ago. The scores: East Coast Railway Sports Association 164 in 49.4 overs (K. Kumaraswamy 34, D. Ravikumar 27, K. Bharat Reddy five for 34) lost to Gajuwaka Greens 165 for five in 34.4 overs (B.
