VISAKHAPATNAM: Andhra University’s Gandhian Studies Centre is conducting a two-week summer course in Gandhian thought from May 11. The course will be offered free of cost, and classes in Telugu and English will be held five days in a week. The course is meant to provide an opportunity for a fairly intensive study of the life, philosophy and methodology of Gandhiji and also provides an experience in community living, manual work, spinning and devotional music, Programme Coordinator of the centre A.B.S.V. Ranga Rao informed in a press release. Eminent Gandhians and well-known academicians will conduct classes. A test will be conducted at the end of the course and certificate of appreciation will be presented. All can attend the course. Registration for the course ends on May 5 and applications have to be sent to the Programme Coordinator, Gandhian Studies Centre, Room No. 120, School of Social Sciences building, Andhra University campus, Visakhapatnam-3.
