Andy Pycroft named match referee

DUBAI: The latest addition to the ICC’s elite panel of match referees, Andy Pycroft, will make his debut in the two-Test series between England and West Indies.

Steve Davis and Asoka de Silva have been appointed umpires, while the third and fourth umpires will be decided by the England and Wales Cricket Board.

“I am looking forward to these two matches immensely and it’s a real thrill to be entering this new phase in my cricketing life,” Pycroft said. — PTI
