THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Trivandrum Residents Apex Council (TRAC) has welcomed the decision to re-examine the tender submitted by the Mumbai-based Zoom Developers for the construction of an international deepwater container transhipment terminal at Vizhinjam, near here. The executive committee of the council, which met here on Thursday, condemned the efforts by a lobby to torpedo the project by bogging it down in litigation. The committee urged the government to ensure time-bound completion of development projects. It demanded immediate steps to start work on the habitat centre at Kowdiar and a theatre complex of international standards inside the Tagore Theatre complex.
